Women’s bodies are a complex universe, often stereotyped and disparaged. That’s why Dàme aims to explore and normalise women’s bodies in all their facets. It does so by focusing on a specific body part in every issue, serving as the starting point to spark conversations about normalising body types, acceptance, prevention, discrimination, gender, sexuality issues, and inclusivity. Meanwhile, it highlights the role fashion and culture play in shaping our perception of ourselves and others.
The goal is to make a change through the independent publishing industry to fight towards social justice in which physical, gender, and origin differences are not guaranteed, but are essential qualities that must be protected and valued to achieve full inclusion.
